Refund Policy

We offer free practice — a set of sample questions and a limited number of free practice sessions — so you can judge the quality and style of our questions before you pay. We encourage you to use the free practice first to make sure DriveTestIQ is right for you.

A full-bank unlock is a one-time purchase that gives you immediate digital access to the purchased state’s question bank for the access window shown at checkout. Because the content is delivered to you right away and a free sample is available beforehand, purchases are generally final and non-refundable once access has been granted.

We will issue a refund or correct the problem if any of the following applies:

• you were charged in error or charged more than once for the same purchase;
• you paid but could not access what you purchased because of a technical fault on our side that we are unable to resolve for you; or
• a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law.

To request a correction or refund, contact [email protected] with the email address used for the purchase and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond promptly. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe; the time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

We do not tie refunds to whether you pass your test. No study tool can control the official examination or its outcome, so passing is not a condition of any purchase and not passing is not a basis for a refund.

Separately from refunds, we offer a Pass Guarantee. If you purchase full access, take your official state written test, and do not pass, you may request a one-time renewal of your access — free — for the same length you bought. You’ll need to email us proof of your result within 30 days of your test date. This is additional study time, not a refund of your purchase. Full details are in our Terms of Use.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law. Where such law gives you a refund or cancellation right that is greater than what this policy provides, that law controls.
